Creating marketplace listings
How to create individual listings for products on your marketplace channels.
What is a listing?
- Channel association: Which marketplace this listing is for
- Product association: Which Shopify product and variant
- Overrides: Optional customizations (title, description, price)
- External IDs: The marketplace's listing ID and SKU (once pushed)
- Status: Draft, pending, active, inactive, error, or suppressed
Creating a single listing
- Go to Admin → Marketplace → Listings
- Click New Listing
- Select the channel (e.g., Amazon US)
- Search for and select a product from your Shopify catalog
- Select which variant(s) to list (or "All variants")
- Review the listing preview—data is pulled from Shopify by default
- Optionally add overrides (custom title, description, price, etc.)
- Click Create Listing

- Title: From Shopify (or template, or override)
- Description: From Shopify (or template, or override)
- Price: From Shopify after pricing rules applied
- Images: From Shopify product
- Inventory: From Shopify after buffer/floor applied
- Category: From mapping or manual selection
Per-listing overrides
- Title: Marketplace-optimized title (Amazon allows 200 chars, eBay allows 80)
- Description: Platform-specific description with allowed HTML
- Bullet points: Amazon/Walmart bullet features
- Price: Fixed price override (bypasses pricing rules)
- Category: Manual category selection
- Attributes: Platform-specific attributes (brand, GTIN, etc.)
Listing from the product page
- Go to Admin → Products and select a product
- Click the Marketplace tab
- You'll see existing listings and can create new ones for other channels
- Click List on [Channel] for each channel you want
Multi-variant listings
- Amazon: Parent listing with child ASINs (variations)
- eBay: Multi-variation listing
- Walmart: Variant groups
