Getting started with ShipWave Channels
A quick-start guide to connecting your first marketplace and pushing your first listing.
Prerequisites
- A ShipWave account – Sign up at shipwave.app if you haven't already
- A connected Shopify store – Go to Admin → Stores and connect your Shopify store. This imports your products and inventory.
- An active seller account on at least one marketplace (Amazon Seller Central, eBay, Walmart Seller Center, Etsy, or TikTok Shop)
Step 1: Create a channel
- Select your marketplace platform (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Etsy, or TikTok Shop)
- Choose which Shopify store to use as the product source
- Give the channel a descriptive name (e.g., "Amazon US" or "eBay Main Store")
- Click Create Channel
Step 2: Authorize your seller account
- Amazon, eBay, Etsy, TikTok: You'll be redirected to the marketplace's login page. Sign in and grant ShipWave the requested permissions.
- Walmart: Enter your API Client ID and Client Secret from your Walmart Seller Center developer portal.
Step 3: Configure basic settings
- Auto-sync inventory: Toggle ON to automatically push inventory changes to this marketplace
- Auto-import orders: Toggle ON to automatically pull orders from this marketplace

Step 4: Create your first listing
- Select the channel you just created
- Choose a product from your Shopify catalog
- Select the variant (or all variants)
- Review the listing preview—title, description, price, and images will be pulled from Shopify
- Optionally customize any fields (title, description, price)
- Click Create Listing
Step 5: Push to marketplace
- Validate the listing against marketplace requirements
