Fulfilling marketplace orders
How to fulfill marketplace orders through ShipWave and sync tracking back.
Marketplace orders in ShipWave
- Admin → Orders: All orders (Shopify + marketplace) in one view
- Admin → Marketplace → Orders: Marketplace orders only
Fulfilling an order
- Select the order from the Orders list
- Click Ship Order or Quick Ship
- Verify the ship-from warehouse
- Verify the ship-to address (populated from marketplace)
- Enter package dimensions/weight (or select a preset)
- Compare shipping rates
- Purchase the label
- Print and affix the label
- Drop off or schedule pickup
Automatic tracking sync
- Label purchased → Tracking number and carrier captured
- Tracking sync cron runs (every 15 minutes)
- For orders with tracking not yet pushed:
- — Call marketplace API with tracking details
- — Marketplace marks order as shipped
- — Customer receives shipping notification from marketplace
- — ShipWave marks tracking as pushed
Batch fulfillment
- Go to Admin → Batches
- Create a new batch with marketplace orders
- Set defaults (package size, carrier preference)
- Process the batch
- All labels are created and tracking syncs automatically
FBA orders
- Orders are imported but don't need fulfillment from you
- Amazon handles picking, packing, and shipping
- Tracking is automatically added by Amazon
- ShipWave shows these orders as "Fulfilled by Amazon"
Ship-by dates
- Amazon: Typically 1-2 business days
- eBay: Based on your handling time setting
- Walmart: Based on your shipping settings
