Connecting BigCommerce to ShipWave Channels

Connect your BigCommerce catalog and orders, then prepare marketplace selling from the same store.

Before you connect

You need a ShipWave account and permission to install apps in your BigCommerce store. ShipWave Channels for BigCommerce is currently in its development rollout. If it is not available in your store's Apps area, contact support@shipwave.app for availability. Give each sellable product variant a unique SKU, and check that your store currency matches the marketplace account you plan to use.

Install and link your store

In the BigCommerce control panel, open Apps, find ShipWave Channels when it is available to your store, and review the requested permissions. Install the app, then choose Continue setup to link it to your ShipWave account. Sign in or create your account when prompted. You can also open the BigCommerce connection page in ShipWave for installation guidance.

Import your catalog and native orders

In ShipWave, open Stores and select your BigCommerce store. Choose Enable read-only sync, then Sync catalog and orders. Wait for the first catalog sync to finish. Review the Catalog, Orders, and Listings tabs. An imported order may be held if its products, payment, address, or fulfillment state need attention.

Connect marketplaces and enable updates

Connect your marketplace seller accounts in ShipWave, then use products from this BigCommerce store when preparing listings. Installing the source-store app does not create or approve an Amazon, Walmart, or eBay seller account. Order mirrors, stock updates, and tracking start paused. During the rollout, ShipWave support must complete store verification before those controls become available. Before enabling them, stop any older connector that writes the same orders, quantities, or tracking.

Pause, reconnect, or remove the app

Use Pause sync on the store page to pause imports, and pause individual update controls before changing connectors. Removing ShipWave Channels from BigCommerce revokes that app connection. Reinstalling requires linking the store again and repeating verification before enabling updates. Keep the app installed while resolving delayed syncs so support can inspect the connection.

FAQs

Do I need a Shopify store?
No. BigCommerce supplies the source catalog, inventory, and native orders for this connection.
Why are update controls unavailable?
The first catalog sync, account access, and store verification must be complete. The initial rollout also requires ShipWave support to verify provider behavior before enabling updates.
How is Channels priced?
One connected marketplace is free. Additional marketplaces are $15 per month each, or $49 per month for the all-marketplaces plan. See shipwave.app/pricing for current plan details.
