Shipping Labels
Voiding and refunding labels
How to cancel unused shipping labels and get a refund.
How to void a label
Go to Admin → Shipments, find the shipment you want to cancel, and click the Void button. The label will be cancelled with the carrier and a refund will be processed. You can only void labels that have not been scanned into the carrier's system.
Void windows by carrier
USPS: Labels can be voided within 30 days of purchase. UPS: Labels should be voided within 24 hours of purchase. After that, they can still be voided but may take longer to process. FedEx: Labels should be voided within 24 hours. DHL: Labels can typically be voided within 7 days. If a label has already been scanned by the carrier, it cannot be voided.
Refund processing
Refunds are credited back to the original payment method. USPS refunds are typically instant. UPS and FedEx refunds may take 5–10 business days to process as they go through the carrier's audit system. You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is completed.
FAQs
Can I void a label that has been scanned?
No. Once a carrier scans a label, it is considered in-transit and cannot be voided. You would need to file a return or intercept request depending on the carrier.
What if I accidentally printed the wrong label?
Void the incorrect label immediately and create a new one. As long as the original label hasn't been scanned, you'll receive a full refund for the voided label.
